In pursuance of Rule 6 of the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Audit of Scheme Rules, 2011, a 3rd phase of 1st cycle social audit of MGNREGS 2023-2024 is to be conducted in 330 villages within the State of Mizoram during 14th May to 21st June, 2024.

In accordance with sub rule (3) of Rule 5 of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Audit of Scheme Rules, 2011, all concerned Programme Officers (MGNREGA) shall ensure the availability of all the required information and records of all implementing agencies under MGNREGS in each village and they are requested to cooperate with Social Audit Teams during the entire course of social audit.

Further, Social Audit for 15th Finance Commission (15FC) Grant 2021-2022 is scheduled to be conducted simultaneously in 167 villages out of the selected 330 villages.
